Do you watch many options trading videos on YouTube? Using videos to catch up on the best ways to trade iron condors, covered calls, or other strategies.
I do. And the more channels I subscribe to, the more options trading videos are being suggested to me by the algorithms of YouTube.
But the quality varies. There are producers who consistently make amazing content, and there are others who spit out crap week after week.
Have you found your favorites? I have. In this article, I present three options traders I like on YouTube.

And ok, let’s be honest: Most producers of high-quality content about options trading on YouTube want to sell you some services. That also goes for the three I have picked. I have not tried the services of either of them and including them in this article does not mean that I endorse whatever they sell. I just like their content 🙂
I should also mention that Theta Profit has launched its own YouTube channel. So far there is only one video – an interview about Brian Terry about his ITM Covered Call strategy. But more videos are being planned. Feel free to subscribe to the channel if you like to keep track.
But now: Here are three YouTube channels about options trading that I like:
Options with Davis
YouTube channel: Options with Davis
Number of subscribers: 25,000
The Singaporean trader Davis produces easy-to-grasp and to-the-point videos explaining different options trading strategies.
Davis covers a lot of different strategies and is very good at explaining them in a simple and easy-to-understand way. His channel targets options traders at beginner or intermediate levels.
Davis is clearly inspired by Tastytrade and he often refers to their research in his videos.
Shadowtrader
YouTube channel: Shadowtrader
Number of subscribers: 82,000
Shadowtrader targets more advanced options traders. Their lead trader, Peter Reznicek, has an excellent show every weekend in which he reviews the week that was and looks ahead into the next week. He also reviews a possible play for the next week.
The show is heavy on technical analysis, especially in understanding market profiles. It is a thorough review, packed with knowledge. I feel a bit wiser about markets after each episode.
Outlier Options Trading

Number of subscribers: 25,000
Erik Smolinski has a massive production of videos about options trading. His videos are informative to watch and he willingly shares his long experience in trading. Erik’s slogan is “trading without bullshit” – and he does live up to that, in my opinion.
380 videos over four years is an impressive effort! And Erik has an informal and energetic style.
